Alan Douglas Baker (1814 - 1987), Australian Oil on board, 90 cm x 70 cm
Born in New South Wales, Baker is best know for still life and floral subjects. He was a teacher of life drawing at the J S Watkins school in Sydney prior to WWII and a council member of the Roayal Art Society of NSW. This is a beautiful gallery sized painting in an elaborate gilded frame.
