This watercolour has lots of feeling. The artist has captured the feeling of a stormy day on the water meadows of the River Wey, Ripley, Surrey. While cattle graze in the distance, the heavy storm clouds roll by while the wind bends the tree branches before it. A classic English rural scene beautifully portrayed and in excellent condition.
