Lloyd was a watercolourist producing both marine and landscape scenes. He was a prolific artist exhibiting 40 paintings at the Royal Academy as well as 117 works at Suffolk Street, 168 works at the Royal Society of British Artists, 56 works at the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours as well as exhibiting at the Grosvenor Galleries and various other venues. Amongst his works at the Royal Academy were “Autumn Morning” and “Salmon Fishing, Christchurch Bay”. Lloyd was known to have lived at 10 Fitzroy Square, London and at other addresses in the city before he moved to Sussex.
